The Ultimate Progressive

Adolf Hitler the ultimate progressive:

  • Rose from poverty to power
  • Denounced Capitalism
  • Was a Democratic Socialists with the motto, "the common good before self-interest!"
  • Ran on "Hope and Change", and succeeded in transforming his country
  • Ended unemployment
  • Created Universal Healthcare
  • Got religion out of politics
  • Strove to end Social Inequality
  • Got kids to participate in Youth Programs
  • Replaced personal freedoms with Government Benefits
  • Vegitarian
  • 99% approval rating
  • His media (and ours) loved him
  • Killed Everyone who opposed him, and destroyed his nation

It's like the DNC platform.

Great with Children

There's an old joke, "but Hitler was great with Children... and dogs. The point is that people are complex. He may have been a murderous, vile, evil bastard to many. But he was someone's child, and he had good traits. The facts are, like progressives everywhere, he was just looking out for his people and country (according to his distorted world view). So he had the best of intentions.... but the road to hell is paved with those. And while he may have loved children, that doesn't make up for the other bad things he did. Obviously.
