Remnick went into a bit of an orgasmic tizzy when he reviewed Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth" and wrote: "[Gore] insists that we focus on what likely will be an uninhabitable planet if we fail to pay attention to the folly we are committing". Remnick fawns over what quickly became debunked bullshit (and never retracted or apologized), and rails against Bush and the right for not believing in economy destroying histrionics and Junk Science.
