Trump insults the fab-4 of Anti-Americanism: the far left progressive caucus (freshmen Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, Ocasio-Cortez, Ayanna Pressley) that's going to get him re-elected. His quip against their constant dishonest rants about how bad America is, and how great everywhere else is, is the age old comment, "you should go back and show us how it's done". Idiots like AOC pretended that this was about race and that Trump didn't know where they were from and was telling all people of that kind to get out, and FakeNews outlets like CNN propagated the lie in their headline. But anyone who read the actual tweets knew that's not what he said, which is why CNN didn't link to the source material, so it couldn't be checked. And one of CNN's pundits showed how bad Trump was by making the exact same claim about Melania Trump, Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio should go back to their native countries (as they've said dozens of times before): accidentally proving that this kind of attack is normal fare in politics and on CNN. Only when Republicans do it, it's racist. Of course Pelosi escalated to try to create a resolution condemning these xenophobic tweets (rolls eyes), this is all to cover for the anti-American sentiments of the freshman democrats. more...
The Grey Lady has always been a yellow rag, but they once had the ability to hide it better. Since they are always looking for ways to bash America or aggrandize their view of social justice, on the anniversary of one of America and the world's greatest achievements (the moon landing), what's their point? "How the Soviets Won the Space Race for Equality". As if there ever was such a thing. In a coordinated attack(?), WaPo wrote/shit-tweeted how the culture there was very family unfriendly and white male, as if that matters. Their imagined point was that while America sent the first man to the moon, the Soviets sent the first woman, asian, and black into orbit: so communism rules, capitalism drools. Lies of omission are still lies. Soviets had a cruel disregard for human life (they only cared about PR) and they sent 4 women, ever. The U.S. sent ≈50 women, including first mother, first Chinese Woman, first married couple, first black and hispanic women, also the oldest (@Hollymathnerd). If you're retarded enough to only measure humanities successes by the intersectional victimhood status, the U.S. still crushes the Soviet Union. Oh, and many more Women and people of color or religious minorities fled from the Soviet Union to America (or anywhere else) for the opportunities and diversity, very few the other way around. more...
The smartest voice on NBC/MSNBC claimed, "None of these members of Congress are socialists, but that is the way the Republican leadership wants to frame this election face-off.... There’s not a single member of these congressional representatives (the Squad) who are avowed socialists, so I don’t know where that is coming from other than opposition research.”. If you have a basic clue you'd know that three of them (AOC, Tlaib and Omar) are all members of the DSA (Democratic Socialists of America), or at least Omar said she was proud to call herself a Democratic Socialist. AOC has condemned Capitalism (“capitalism is irredeemable”) and openly advocates Socialism, as does the DSA. Their causes have ranged from a 70% tax (or more), the Green (and Red) New Deal (which was about wealth redistribution), medicare/higher education for all, and so on. But if you listen to NBC/MSNBC it's all just made up by the Republicans. more...
Trump is either a communications genius, or the media/left are complete idiots to be outclassed by a self gratifying dolt. Look at the basics of the latest histrionics over the Racist attack on fab-four:
  • Trump took the most fanatical 4 in the far left party, attacked them, and got the mainstream media and the democrats to defend them... and align themselves with the cause.
  • Then Trump shit-tweets how radical they are. The left has to either keep defending them (defining themselves as like them), or admit he was right.

Either he’s intentionally baiting them, as part of his plan, or they’re so incompetent that they can’t beat a bumbling buffoon and his shit tweets. So if Trump's an idiot, they are dumber. Or he's been using the left's constant under-estimation of him, to bait them into shooting themselves in the foot. (They win the little fight, by losing the bigger one). And the #resistance can't stop falling for it. Either doesn’t bode well for the left. more...
As a giant waste of money, and to show intolerance for all those who disagree with the left, Berkeley decided to "degenderize" the city; doing such important things as replacing terms like 'Manhole' and 'Ombudsman' with personhole and ombudsperson (respectively). With the far left, common sense isn't common. Man is short for mankind not male, and like it or not, English is a gendered language. You can't erase a lifetime (or centuries) of language, and just re-invent it every time it doesn't fit the latest leftist political fad. And what do you do when people don't go along? Let the beatings commence in the name of tolerance! Trying to make her=them and black=white makes the language less precise (it removes information) and it is awkward in far more examples than it helps. But it makes intolerance SJW's feel better about their cause: intolerance. The purpose of this is to draw attention to anyone who doesn't go along with the charade, so they can be bullied. Never forget the purpose is not inclusion, it is exclusion. more...
This quote from Saint Augustine, meant to convey the message to stop focusing on the sins of others and concentrate on their own, a rewording of Jesus' Gospel (Matthew 7:3), is way too conservative/contravercial for the algorythm of snowflakes at Facebook. And, of course, since you're not allowed human interaction, they won't explain why it so offensive as to get blocked/banned.
❝ Let us never assume that if we live good lives we will be without sin; our lives should be praised only when we continue to beg for pardon. But men are hopeless creatures, and the less they concentrate on their own sins, the more interested they become in the sins of others. They seek to criticize, not to correct. Unable to excuse themselves, they are ready to accuse others. ❞

In virtually every Company and University they have or are created a Department of Rainbows (Diversity). While I like the idea, the implementations seem to be falling far short. And much of their imagery and attitude is questionable at best. Look, I love my LGBT friends and family as much as my friends of all colors and races, but that doesn't mean all radical activists or their symbols are always good. Activists by nature aren't moderates. So while I can get behind them at the starts of their causes (while they are demanding freedom from oppression and equality of opportunity), once the activists take over and they devolve into marxist special interest proclaiming superiority, demanding special privileges, or demanding equality of outcomes? They lose me. more...
Nancy did a PragerU video: "How to Become a Dangerous Person" explaining what happened to her for the left-crime of creating a #MeNeither hashtag to discuss complex issues like #MeToo (aka should we really accept accusations without evidence). And the Twitter mob descended on her like Antifa on an Asian guy filming them. They attacked her Husband's Coffee Shop (Ristretto Roasters) for not divorcing her in the name of feminism: how DARE she have a well thought out opinion that asks, "where does this all lead?" more...
Some claim, "nobody wants to take your guns, we just want a few 'reasonable' controls on them". But if we pretend that gun control works (by ignoring facts and history), and we assume guns are the problem, then there is no such thing as gun-control: you need gun bans. "Controlling" semi-auto rifles means you have to control semi-auto-pistols... and then revolvers, and pump/lever action, then bolt action guns (which committed one of our worst mass shootings in American history) and the results are, there are no safe guns in the hands of crazies. Thus logic says they're lying, either to us, themselves or both. So I've yet to meet the gun-controller that will be satisfied with X, when that means their neighbors will still have guns. more...
Reload.png
There's a fallacy amongst hoplophobes (gun phobics) that limiting magazines to 10 rounds will help against mass shooters, or that assault rifles are somehow unique. However:
  • The time it takes to reload is less than the reaction time to know that a shooter is reloading.
  • We fought all wars prior to the Korean war without removable magazines, and all wars prior to Vietnam with 10 round magazines (or less).
  • The FBI studied mass shootings and found that the average mass shooting is 10 rounds over 5 minutes, most never even need to reload.
  • In all the mass shootings in the U.S. there has never been a case where a shooter was charged and disarmed during a reload, even with revolvers.
  • Shooting sprees end by them leaving, surrender, suicide or getting shot: virtually never by takedowns during reloads.
Magazine limits, assault rifle bans, outlawing removable magazines, and so on, sound great to those who don't know any better, but is just an infuriating ineffective annoyance to gun owners. Each bad law like this, makes it harder to pass "good" laws, as the tolerance for any more legislation was been wasted dividing us, instead of making a real difference. more...

CrashMovie.jpg
I remember hearing that Crash was a great movie that won all sorts of awards (back in 2005) and I'd never got around to seeing it. It was on Amazon Prime, so I watched it. What a craptastic mashup of moronic plots, clichéd angry racists, and absurd dialog. It was anti-American propaganda written by cluelessly pretentious Canadian Marxists, who never lived in the city but stitched together every racist ghost story that anti-Americans tell each other at parties, into one implausible week of events. Which is why Hollywood loved it: it's what they imagine L.A. to be, from behind the locked gates of their Brentwood estates. more...
Unplanned (2019).png
Unplanned is a prophetic name, as I had no real intentions of seeing it. But after Twitter blocked them (since removed), music labels wouldn't license songs, most TV stations refused their benign advertising, and it was unfairly given an R rating. Later Google "Accidentally" mislabelled them as "propaganda", how does a non-genre accidentally get added anyways? And Canada banned it via their theater monopoly. I knew I had to see what was the Citizen Kane of our day. (Remember the studios/powerful tried to block Orsen Welles from telling the Hurst truth as well, even in allegory form). Here, take my money! Gosnell last year and Unlplanned this year are probably the most important movies of the year, not because I agree with everything in them (I'm pro-choice), or they're the best production (they aren't), but they tell powerful, mostly true stories that the rich, powerful and intolerant want to suppress. And if you hate bullies, you want to see the little guy succeed, even if you're not 100% in agreement with their message. That and it's a pretty good story, and I want to see the best arguments the other side can make to challenge myself/my beliefs -- so whichever side you're on, you should see it to be informed. But of course, that view is not for everyone. more...
Wick3.jpeg
Honestly, as someone with a bit of training in both combat shooting and martial arts, the first movies gun-fu scenes were the best I've ever seen in the movies, and the behind the scenes stuff shows that Reeves really put in the time to get trained and took it seriously. I watched it for the shooting (and martial arts), and it was the best ever: in an over the top sorta way. But by the 3rd movie, any freshness is long gone. more...
CaptainMarvel.jpeg
Captain Marvel character was in DC and Marvel Universes, and do to legal issues, was a series of characters. In 2012, they made Ms. Marvel into Captain Marvel and the screenplay was started soon after. There was a ton of politics around creating Feminist Superman -- and the reviews were getting trashed before the film came out. But out of curiosity, I went and saw it, and despite a few flaws -- it was one of the better Marvel movies. (I preferred it to Black Panther (2018) which was also the obviously Black Justice Warrior). more...

Dreamworks animated viking saga that I would recommend to people who like animated kid friendly movies, that can also appeal to adult. Very visually interesting, with somewhat simplistic plots, but well enough done story lines to just the time and price. more...
TheMule.jpeg
The Mule is a LATE 2018 American crime film (that I saw in early 2019), produced, directed and lead acted by Clint Eastwood. The move is based on The New York Times article "The Sinaloa Cartel's 90-Year-Old Drug Mule": a true story an octaganarian World War II veteran who became a drug courier. Clint does a good job of sort of the early Breaking Bad type amoral anti-hero, someone you kind of want to sympathize with, and sort of like, but is a bit of a self-centered dick, with a lot of regrets in life. more...
JordanPetersonShow.jpeg
As part of his 12 Rules for Life book tour, Jordan Peterson did a show in San Jose (2019.01.22 @ City National Civc), where I'd also seen Styx a few years ago. So I called some friends that I knew liked him, and bought a block of tickets.

I was expecting a book tour thing, that covered sort of self-help, take personal responsibility, and stuff like that. But it was actually him talking about what inspired him to write his books, which went all over the map. He's an academic, and started a bit scattered, but as it went on, he started bringing things together and having a coalesced message and it was quite an interesting and fun talk. more...
