This section is not comprehensive analysis of all the complexities of a persons life, but more the points most often brushed over (the counter-balances to the myth-making/propaganda). So these are not meant to be read in isolation, but as complimentary aspects on people (or issues about them) that are on the road that's less travelled.

Ad hominem's don't change the validity of an argument, but it does hint at their biases or agendas.

Joe Arpaio

Arpaiokarma.png
I'm not a Judge Arpaio fan or foe. Some of his ideas about justice aren't horrible. Some of his implementations definitely were. But the thing that matters in his Pardon is none of those biases or activities that others want to bring to the table, but just whether he was being treated fairly in this case or not.

Steve Bannon

Bannon.jpg
If you believe the left, Steve Bannon is a homophobic, racist, anti-semite, xenophobe. Or an accomplished naval officer, with two Masters Degrees, an investment banking background, an unapologetic pro-Israel and pro-liberty CEO of Breitbart.com (if you believe the facts). I have found no evidence of the former, though there's certainly more complexity and some things to not love about his political positions. So there's the caricature I usually hear on the likes of NPR or in most of the media... but then places like The Boston Globe did a shockingly fair piece on him. I have never gotten an answer why a racist, anti-semite would have been the editor for Breitbart: founded by Andrew (a Jew) to rebut the anti-Jewish and anti-Israel agenda in the mainstream media. Or why many Jews on staff would defend such an imagined bigot. But when it comes to hating right wingers, things don't need to make sense for the left.

Tom Brokaw

Once considered the paragon of a fair Journalist, now a parody of journalism, often reminding people of how partisan and biased he was all along.

Garikai Chengu

Progressive activist in "African Studies" with an anti-western/anti-colonialism bias. Hates Churchill. If I wanted Obama's Dad's view of the world, I'd just read Dreams of my Father again.

George Ciccariello-Maher

Ciccariello maher.jpg
Drexel University Professor of Politics and Global Studies goes full retard on tweets about everything. While I don't want to see anyone fired, it's obvious to the rational (not the Administration of Drexel) that if anyone had said such racist things against other minorities than whites, they would have fired and blacklisted. But standards don't seem to apply to Maxist anti-Historians, ranting full of self-hate and armed with revisionism.

Hillary Clinton

Here's a brief summary of Hillary's scandals (with links to more on each of them). This isn't meant as a balanced piece to show what good she's accomplished as a politicians or person (that would be a much shorter list), the intent is just to show the pattern of scandals that her detractors recognized and her proponents ignore. If you want the pro-Hillary spin just listen to her, the NYT, CNN or MSNBC, they carry her water for her.

James Damore

JamesDamore.jpg

This is the story of Media Lies, Google Hypocrisy, and what happens when someone (James Damore) decides to tell the truth in Progressive America, "Burn the witch, after all, he said the same thing that science, common sense, and Google's own lawyers say in court!" Google encourages people to speak their minds, then fires them if they don't say what they want, then claims they're still all about free speech, just not THAT! In the end, Google proved they're not only an echo chamber, but one with blindfolds, guns and itchy trigger fingers.

Leonardo Dicaprio

Hypocritical Sanctimonious High School Drop-out and thespian-activist lives in large mansions, flies around the world on private jets, making movies, each with the carbon footprint exceeding the average coal mine, then likes to lecture the rest of us on how to be greener and how important the climate is?

This is who you think we should all get our "science" facts from? Or maybe Al Gore? These dimwits think a Milankovitch cycle is a fancy Polish Motorcycle. I prefer folks who actually know science.

Bob Dornan

Sanchez.jpg
The anecdote about Bob Dornan and Loretta “Dirty" Sanchez, and how illegal aliens stole an election in my district. Which is why when folks deny that it happens or that it matters, I just shake my head. I saw it first hand.

Paul R. Ehrlich

TOC.jpg
We often get dire warnings about Malthusian Catastrophes, Ehrlich's population bombs and how individuals can't be trusted to manage shared interests. We need government to protect us from ourselves. History shows the opposite: individuals form small governments for common interests better than big governments, unless big government stops them.

Charlie Gard

Malevolent liberty is better than benevolent tyranny. A lot of this boils down to the Trolly Problem: a thought experiment in ethics that goes like this: a runaway trolley is going to kill five people tied to one set of tracks, or you can flip a level where it will go to a side track and kill one person. Which is more ethical? For me, the victims not having a say in what you do, is where much of the problem is. In Liberty, they choose. In Tyranny, you choose for them.

Bill Gates

Gates.jpg
Is Bill Gates a genius? After all Microsoft was one of the world's great success stories. I don't think he's dumb - he was certainly smart and motivated enough to take advantages of opportunities that fell into his lap. And he was very industrious and competitive. But if you put 100 motivated people in situation, I bet 30 could have been wildly successful, and a few could have been more successful and less jerky. That to me is well below the bar of genius, but YMMV.

Kamala Harris

KamalaBrown.jpg
By being corrupt Mayor Willie Brown's mistress on-the-side she got to the top by being on the bottom (fucking her way up). He paid her in rich part-time agency appointments and helped her become the D.A. with the worst conviction record in the state, botched 80+ cases, lost $3.7M in funds. With a record like that, she was destined to becoming State Attorney General, after paying off Maxine Waters (through her daughter) and winning a highly suspect election counting by another of her friends. Where she became a vile, and incompetent, anti-constitutional Attorney General. Then she paid off Maxine Waters, again... and became a vile and incompetent Senator. Which she wants to parlay into becoming a vile and incompetent President.

Charlton Heston

CharltonHeston.jpeg
Charlton Heston 1999 speech to the Harvard Law School Forum on 'Winning the Cultural War', resulted in this man, and others like him, getting vilified for their beliefs: that we should be tolerant, free, allow free speech, but also be judged by our own actions.

Kim Jong-un

ThisTall.jpg
Sometimes all your choices are bad ones. Letting Mini-Mao terrorize East Asia sure isn't making the world a better place for our children. Confrontation may or may not. So the choice is deal with a delusional little fucktard with fission weapons and no good means of deployment now, or deal with a little delusional fucktard with fusion weapons and ICBM's later. Seems like kicking the can down the road is how we got in this predicament. 70 years of appeasement hasn't made the world a better place, it's only made the threat much bigger.

Abraham Lincoln

Abe.jpg
My interest in Honest Abe, was always about the darker parts of his history, that the High School History books skimmed or skipped. People are complex, so the more I heard this caricature of the Greatest American President, the more I wanted to know his humanity. And it turns out that he was a racist orator (just less racist than his contemporaries), with a an ego large enough to get over half a million men murdered (more Americans died in the civil war, than in WWII), and freeing the slaves was a vindictive byproduct of the war his election victory started.

Those are the parts I focus on, the myths about Lincoln, the Civil War and Slavery.

James Mitose

James-Mitose.jpg

James Mitose was an Japanese American that learned the hard way about our legal system and how the public views Martial Artists. He is well known in some Martial Arts circles, because he brought Kenpo/Kempo over to Hawaii and the mainland from Japan, and is one of the important Masters of the art.

Michael Moore

Moore.jpg
Micheal Moore, the idiot savant without any latent talent. He's like Joseph Goebbels without the success, charm or professional integrity. Climate Radicalism is among the things he loves, but he doesn't live by the rules he wants others to. And Climate is really just an means to Elitism/Socialism/Statism as the ends.
Main article: Michael Moore

Roy Moore

Roy Moore was the Republican nominee in Alabama for a contested U.S. Senate seat, had run multiple campaigns for decades (with nothing coming to light). The left hates him with a blind seething passion for his positions against Gay Marriage, and for the 10 commandments, and for switching from their party. So WaPo timed a hit piece to do the most damage it could to him, and to help the DNC. I wouldn't vote for a Judge that puts his ego above the law (as it appears Moore has), but the important question is whether the allegations are true, or just true enough for WaPo's quality standards.

Richard Nixon

Nixon.jpeg
My Grandfather once told me back in about 1979. "Richard Nixon was a bastard, but a great President. Jimmy Carter is a good man, but a lousy fucking President. Politicians are corrupt assholes, so they didn't like Nixon, but they understood and could work with him, because he was one of them. But Jimmy Carter was an honest guy, so they didn't understand him and couldn't work with him. You need a corrupt asshole to get anything done in Washington".

Barack Obama

A list of issues, articles and scandals that pertain to Barack Obama. Again, the point isn't to be fair here: it's to be honest. I don't care how people vote, or who they support. I do care about correcting revisionist history. This isn't meant as a balanced piece to show what good he's accomplished as a politicians or person (there was some, though it is a much shorter list), if you want fawning puff pieces, read/watch the water carriers in the left-wing media.

Thomas Piketty

Capital.jpeg
Thomas Piketty is a French Economist (and woman-beater), who used Emmanuel Saez's discredited research (study) on how things haven't gotten better for the middle class, as the basis for his new socialist manifesto called Capital in the 21st Century (a play on Marx’s Das Kapital). Economically, the study/book was crap: politically, it was gold. It told the left leaning and their media what they wanted to hear. So it made the NYT best seller list in Fan Fiction, and everyone talked about it. It was peer reviewed and debunked in spades, but not before the gullible gobbled it up as a tasty plate of confirmation bias. Nom nom.

Valarie Plame

Plame.jpg
Any media outlet that reports the fraud that "Plame was illegally and intentionally outted by the Bush administration as retaliation for Joe attacking them", is getting every fact over what happened wrong, long after they should know better. The Valerie Plame affair can be summed up: her husband (Joe Wilson) drew attention with some discredited articles, Novak found out about her in a book called "Who's Who in America", since she wasn't an active agent: no crime was committed, and why no one was prosecuted. Joe's claims showed that Saddam TRIED to secure yellowcake for his WMD program, which proved the opposite of what he thought. And Joe, Valerie and the media perpetuated the lie that they were somehow wronged, and the rubes buy in.

Seth Rich

The basics are that when the DNC invented the trope that John Podesta's email was hacked by Russians (despite little evidence of that), a story that was already getting buried by the news media was that:

  • Wikileaks had already gone on the record to explain it wasn't a hacker but a leaker inside the DNC that was his source, and that leaker was a disgruntled Bernie Sanders supporter, disgusted with how the DNC had colluded with the Hillary Campaign to undermine the election process.
  • It had been confirmed by one of Julian Assange's associates who said he'd picked up the file in DC
  • And Julian pointed out that while he can not name sources, it's a dangerous business, as the murder of Seth Rich showed -- a DNC insider with sympathies for Bernie Sanders, who may have had contact with Wikileaks

Franklin Delano Roosevelt

FDR-button.png
FDR is taught as a liberal caricature of a great man and President. But most of the myths around him, are just that: myths. He was a man of some charm, with few strengths and many flaws. He focused power so that he could abuse it, corrupt, vindictive, liar (betrayed most that trusted him). He ignored the Constitution and his oath of office, many of the countries worst shames happened under his watch (and by his hand/guidance). According to those closest to him, he was a lousy diplomat, a poor administrator, not scholarly, nor thoughtful, well read or even bright. He was people smart (manipulator) that enjoyed playing people/groups off of each other. Other than that, he was likable, mercurial, and aloof.

Emmanuel Saez

Bernie Sanders

I constantly read fawning articles and blogs about Sanders. I really don’t care who you want to vote for, I just care that people are voting from a position of knowledge and are not lying to others (or themselves) about who/what he is. This reminds people of all the info they didn't get from the media.

Margaret Sanger

Progressive activist racist eugenicist founded Planned Parenthood to exterminate as many inferior (brown) babies as possible, to advance white protestantism. The party that loves to hate and remove Confederate heroes and statues has no problem worshiping at the feet of their bigots: proving all standards don't apply equally.

Frederick Seitz

Petition.jpg

Physicist Frederick Seitz was President of the US National Academy of Sciences and of Rockefeller University (winner of National Medal of Science, the Compton Award, the Franklin Medal, and numerous other awards, including honorary doctorates from 32 Universities around the world) and well know Global Warming Skeptic. He created the Global Warming Petition Project in 1997, and ran until 2008, allowing prominent Scientists to sign that they disagreed with Kyoto/UN on CO2 and Global Warming Alarmism. 31,487 American scientists (9,029 with Ph.D's) have signed this petition, all to show the absurdity of the consensus claims. To get to 97%, you'd need 1,049,566 Scientists, or at least 300,966 Ph.D.'s to sign the counter-effort, which never got anywhere.

Aaron Sorkin

They say "you are what you do", you're the sum of your work, and your work is a reflection of your soul. While some of Sorkin's stuff is mildly entertaining, I'd be embarrassed if I was him. Of course he probably isn't, which tells me what I need to know about him.

Sean Spicer

Spicer.jpeg

Sean Spicer: Press Secretary for an unpopular administration means he's the victim of repeat yellow journalism and hatchet jobs. It's not that he doesn't say dumb things, he does. He just does it less often than the other side of the aisle, and when caught saying the same dumb things they did, the Press makes 10x the sink out of his mistakes. This lists a few examples.

Nate Silver

Nate.png
Nate Silver, hero of the left, is trying to prove P.T. Barnum (or Abe Lincoln) quote correct, "You can fool some of the people all of the time; you can fool all of the people some of the time, or you can fool all of the democrats all of the time". Or something like that. I have nothing against the guy. I'm just skeptical of the deification of all soothsayers.

George Takei

Look, I don't mind George, he's snarky, bitchy, catty, sometimes funny, and famous for being a b-rate actor in a b-rate series that went viral. But he's also a liberal flaming hypocrite.

Donald Trump

A list of articles on Trump, his scandals (real and imagined). My goal isn't to cheerlead or slam, but I am anti-establishment and have the most interest in the parts of the story that the media/left has omitted, and giggle at cry-bullies getting their comeuppance. That's probably too much nuance for many, as anything but rabid attacks make many think I'm a Trump lover. While I wish he was a better behaved champion and didn't get in the mud with the pigs, but if he didn't, he'd be Mitt Romney and he'd likely lose. So they despise him for doing what they do back to them. I don't like either of them, but I like the one fighting for individuals more than the ones fighting to oppress them.

Ross Ulbricht

Licensing is a protection racket: the government takes away your right to something, then leases it back to you for a fee. Fuck with that, and the mafia will kill you, the government will give you life in prison (with no possibility of parole). That just happened to Ross Ulbricht for creating Silk Road (eBay for the DarkNet).
