Bridge of Spies (2015)
I went and saw this over the weekend. A really good movie (it got 91/87 on Rotten Tomatoes). And I liked it. But that being said, it was a slow, almost monologue.
On one hand, it's a great story, and really good movie. One of the best ones I've seen this year. But this hasn't been a great year for movies, and I don't mind the slower pacing of a mostly dialog movie. From what I can tell, it took a lot of little liberties on timelines, and dialog, and little stuff to make a "better" movie, but it's "based" on real events.
If you like the historical drama-thriller genre, you're probably going to like this movie. A lot.
