Democrats on violence
If you want a list of quotes that show the Democrats taking the low road, dehumanizing, using far worse rhetoric than Trump does, we have things like the following. An objective media would fire or shame these people's for such hate. Instead they sensationalize it. Twitter didn't block any of them, but blocks conservatives for far less
Politicians / Miseducators | |

CNN | After today there is no longer any room for nuance. The President is a white nationalist terror leader. His supporters - ALL OF THEM - are by definition white nationalist terror supporters. The MAGA hat is a KKK hood. And this evil, racist scourge must be eradicated from society.[20] Reza Aslan |
CNN | Honest question. Have you ever seen a more punchable face than this kid’s? (Directed towards Covington Kids). For bonus points, he also said the same towards Dinesh D’Souza for questioning his rhetoric (now deleted).[21] Reza Aslan |

Kathy Griffin | Beheaded Trump in effigy[26] Unfunny Comedian |

Hodgkinson) shot House Majority Whip Steve Scalise and his baseball team.[27] Universal Pictures (Movie) |
George Lopez | Promised to leave the country if Trump won (he didn't), and told Trump to "Suck his ass!" and called him a racist. Lopez also assaulted a Trump supporter in a Hooters, and also fake urinated on Trump's star on Hollywood (that was regularly vandalized after that). Not quite directly calling for violence, but not raising the tone, and contributing to the hateful rhetoric.[28] Commedian |

After Trump's election there was a twitter storm of angry leftist calling for Trump's assassination. And it wasn't just twitter, it was graffiti, Facebook and elsewhere. Why, I haven't seen the Democrats this angry since Republicans took away their slaves. [44] Post Election hatefest | |

Conclusion
I didn't vote for Trump in 2016 because I didn't like that he acted like a Democrat with his rhetoric. But I dislike the hypocrisy of the left even more -- that they pretend that they and their media are superior and he is somehow uniquely hateful, when most of their gotchas on him are out of context or dishonest (or they ignore his corrections), while most of theirs are worse. So again, if you dislike divisiveness, or outright calls for violence, then Trump is a kitten, and the left should lead by example and start policing their own. If they start slapping their side hard for their worse behavior, I'll know they are serious. Until then, it's just polemics trying to distract from their bad behavior by pointing at lesser transgressions by the right, and screaming "outsider!"
Inciting Violence |
---|
The left Gaslights by trying to cover up their bad actions, by blaming the other side for it. An example of this is claiming the right incites violence, and inferring the left does not. This pops up especially after mass shootings. A few examples to the contrary include: Antifa, Fake Hate, How do you start a race war?, ICE, Incel, Kent State, Paying thugs to assault people, Project Veritas exposes Bernie Sanders campaign, Protest funding, Real Hate, Robert Reich on race wars, Statuary Rape, Trump Derangement Syndrome, Twitter blocks Senate Majority Leader, and more. |
