Londinium is always fun (May), thought it's gone down hill since Hadrian's Wall fell into disrepair: it kept out the riff-raff.
Our digital camera got lifted on the first day: Welcome. We filed a report but this is too common. We made an insurance claim, and got a report done (after the fact)... and kinda got a local bobby in trouble because he didn't do a report at the time. (Sorry about that).
Wait, they still have telephone phone booths?
We still managed a few traditional photos at Buckingham Palace.
We also visited Northhampton, and whilst touring about we were being cased for a mugging: I squared off against the local hooligan, and he left for easier prey.
We had dinner with family in Northamptonshire (excellent home made Beef Wellington). It was excellent, though I'm a bangers and mash guy myself.
Visited grandparents grave. I sort of hold their deaths against the NHS, because of delayed diagnosis.
But I also held the next generation. Melissa was into these baby blanket gifts, so Olivia and Ella both got one.
