Believe it or not, she once ran a business (into the ground). And as a business owner, she came out in support of a bill that would provide tax deductions for business start-up costs, arguing that taxes directly impacted her business profits, “You don’t really make a profit in your first year... to get taxed on top of that is a real whammy.” I wonder what changed in the 6 years that fundamentally changed the realities of how business works?
She also talked up being an entrepreneur, and starting a business. It's not that she pivoted a little -- it's that she went from trying (and failing) to start a business, to claiming that all private businesses are bad: Socialist believes in controlling the means of production. And all people and businesses are the means of production.
