A 6th Grade Virginia Private school girl (who was black) accused three white classmates last week of forcibly cutting her hair... and that made national news. Racism is everywhere! Now she says the allegations were false, according to statements from the girl’s family and the principal at Immanuel Christian School in Springfield. The problem isn't just with the people who cry wolf, it's with the media that sensationalizes these FakeNews stories for clicks (chasing the algorithm before fact checking). Some are more responsible with corrections than others, but should every accusation that involves racism be a headline before you have the basic facts? Some went on to point out this was at Pence's daughters school, just to tie the VP into this.
