COVID Study - Germany
From iGeek
Germany did one of the widest random sampling (80% of the population of this town), in the hardest hit german area of Gangelt, and found that ≈15% of the population had been infected (far wider than expected), which mean that the case fatality rate was 0.37%. Lots of media reports this low death rate in Germany, while failing to note that's because they got a more accurate denominator (total case count).
