Mike started the @Republicans group in Google to try to give the company some diversity and conservatism a voice. So he was driven out and fired. He documents the fraud excuses for why he was fired in an article at Medium that includes the show trial they had to drive him out: he was fired for being rude (with no objective standards of what that meant, and of course it meant that snowflakes asked him questions then got offended at his answers and complained). His conclusion on being forced out was that while, "Google CEO Sundar Pichai has insisted time and time again that Google is a nonpartisan company, but more and more those words seem like empty words: all talk, no action. Both internally and externally, a narrative has begun to emerge that liberal political activists are calling the shots at Google."

An example of his rudeness was that he replied “...Google’s activists, who could only be described as ‘nonpartisan’ in the same sense that the Women’s March could be described as inclusive towards pro-life Jewish women." That was reported as offensive and a fireable offense.

The Lincoln Network released their 2019 Viewpoint Inclusion Survey Report that had some eye-opening observations like:

  • Companies with a political viewpoint, had the least intellectual diversity or tolerance for it.
  • A quote that summed up a conservatives lives in Silicon Valley Tech:
❝ Employees will interpret your words in the most offensive way possible, then report you to HR based on that interpretation. It’s one big offendedness sweepstakes. When people get in trouble, it’s often based not on what they said, but on how others interpreted their words, regardless of how unreasonable that interpretation is. And there is some evidence HR does have a political agenda. I’ve even seen someone get reported to HR for sharing a National Review article. ❞
